I graduated from Parma University in Italy, specifically the School of Veterinary Medicine, in 1987. I acquired some valuable hands-on working experience in 1988 in an Equine Veterinary Clinic in Ireland. Then I spent several years in Australia in various equine veterinary clinics, followed by a stud season in New Zealand and more hands-on practice in Malaysia I returned to Italy in 1991 and have been self-employed since then.
In 1997 a meeting with Leith Ryan M.Eq.D., opened my eyes to equine dentistry, and in particular to the influence of malocclusion on a horse’s overall health.
The marked improvement in all my patient's general health as well as their thoroughly positive mental attitude, have been sufficient spur and encouragement to persuade me to continue my research and development of this branch of veterinary medicine.
I am based in northern Italy, in the province of Brescia, but my job often takes me into southern Germany and Switzerland, too.
